It’s not new and it’s not original and it’s also a bit late but hopefully it will be an enjoyable read. For me 2011was a brilliant year for my business – the summer was crazy busy with weddings and all of them were fantastic. When you run your own business it is all to easy to spend the whole time looking forwards to how the business is going to grow, develop and improve. Occasionally though it is good to stop, look back and see what you have achieved. This is part of the reason this post is so late – I was keen not to rush it and simply fill it with all my favourite wedding images from 2011. I wanted to see how my work has evolved and improved and the direction in which it is heading. I am really pleased with what I did in 2011 but there is always room for improvement and is that challenge which I think is important to identify.
I worked with some great clients last year and I went to some fabulous venues such as Blenheim Palace, Friar’s Court, The Rectory Hotel – Crudwell, Caswell House, Eynsham Hall, The Ashmolean Museum, The Clock Barn – Hampshire, Bhaktivedanta Manor – Watford and Kingston Bagpuize House. As an Oxfordshire wedding photographer it has been great to visit some new wedding venues both in Oxfordshire and around the country. I have a number of new (to me) venues booked in 2012 which is great.
It has been exhausting, stressful at times but my main recollection is that I loved it and I am looking forward to 2012 more then ever.
So, a few of my favourites from 2011. I hope you like them.
