A bit of down time has provided me the opportunity to reflect on my year of wedding photography in 2014. And what a great year it was. I always feel so lucky to work with the couples that I do. For me, it is really important that we get each other – that way great photos are made. I worked all the seasons in locations all over the UK – some venues that are familiar to me and some new ones. But it is the people that make a wedding what it is so my thanks go to all my couples, their families and friends for allowing me to become a part of their wedding days and for allowing me to capture the love and happiness that flowed from each and every wedding.
This year I have been struck by the variety I have experienced – barn weddings, Wedstock!, historic Oxford venues, outdoor wedding ceremonies, castle weddings, Anglo-Mauritian weddings (with amazing food!), first dance flash mobs, surprise acapella bands, singing waiters, boat rides along the Thames and, throughout all of this, tears, joy and did I mention happiness?
So this is my review of 2014. Enjoy.
