Brasenose College Wedding – Tim & Kay

“Tom. Tom. Tom! Oh. My. Word!

Kay and I have just spent perhaps the second best weekend of our lives (you can guess number one!) looking – repeatedly – through your incredible set of photographs.

We had always planned to pen you a proper thank you card, and we very much will do, but we couldn’t wait to tell you how completely and utterly thrilled we are! The photographs are simply stunning; I barely remember registering you for much of the ceremony and at Kirtlington, let alone being in prime position to capture those moments. Every single one is wonderful, and evokes a different happy and personal memory of the day. We had no idea that you had got photographs of our various little touches around the venues to go alongside the brilliant people photos, but it means that altogether you got precisely what we had dreamt of – a full documentary of our day.

Thank you so much for making a newly-wed couple elated and soppy all over again.”

Tim & Kay

Tim & Kay are lovely. Really lovely. Good people plain and simple. I met them last summer in Oxford to discuss their wedding and got on really well so I was looking forward to photographing their Kirtlington Park wedding. I started with Tim and his ushers at his old college – St. Anne’s Oxford. Tim was able to secure the room he inhabited as a student some years ago which was a really lovely touch. We then headed out on foot to Brasenose College where Kay was getting ready and where the service was due to take place in the stunning Brasenose College Chapel. As an Oxford wedding photographer I have photographed many Oxford college weddings but Brasenose was not one of them – it is a stunning college sitting in Radcliffe Square in the heart of Oxford and opposite the beautiful Radcliffe Camera. After the service guests were lucky enough to enjoy a drinks reception in the grounds of Brasenose before heading off by bus to Kirtlington Park. It was a beautiful day and after a few portraits in the grounds Tim & Kay relaxed with friends and family for a second reception before dinner. Kirtlington Park weddings are fantastic – it is a beautiful building with an amazing setting commanding stunning views across Oxfordshire. The speeches were brilliant as was the dancing later in the evening. It was a day full of joy and it was a delight to be a part of.

If you are having a Brasenose College Wedding or a Kirtlington Park wedding please get in touch – I would love to hear from you.
