A couple of weeks ago I was back at Friar’s Court to photograph the wedding of Samantha & Gavin. As an Oxfordshire wedding photographer it is always a pleasure to return to Friar’s Court and I always seem to be lucky with the weather there. Samantha and Gavin had put a lot of effort into ensuring that their wedding day reflected their personalities. There was plenty of time for guests to enjoy the lovely weather on the lawns with games to play and a real focus on a relaxed celebration.
Despite being licensed for civil ceremonies, Samantha & Gavin chose to get married at the local church, St. Stephen’s, Clanfield which is just a few minutes from Friar’s Court and is a lovely, peaceful location for a wedding ceremony.
For me it was lovely to see that some of the cakes has been provided by a previous Friar’s Court bride who has now set up her own cake making business.
I am back at Friar’s Court on Thursday for another wedding – can’t wait.
