Rectory Hotel Crudwell wedding photography : Jess & Steve

Rectory Hotel Crudwell wedding

“The photos are fantastic!”

Jess & Steve contacted me about their wedding after I was recommended by the lovely people at The Rectory Hotel. After a chat on the phone they were keen to hear what previous clients thought of my work. Up stepped the ever brilliant Anitia whose wedding I photographed a couple of years ago. She must have been very nice about me as not long after receiving her email Jess & Steve booked me. What lovely clients I have!

I was really excited about this wedding as, despite having photographed numerous Rectory Crudwell weddings, I had not photographed one with an outdoor wedding ceremony. Jess & Steve had already done the official/legal bit so this ceremony was undertaken by a lovely celebrant and it certainly made for a very relaxed and joyful affair. Not that all other wedding ceremonies aren’t full of joy you understand just that…well you know what I mean.

The setting at The Rectory is perfect for an outdoor ceremony with it’s stunning gardens and beautiful house as a backdrop. In addition the people at Flowers by Passion had worked incredibly hard (I know – I watched them) to create the stunning arrangements both lining the aisle and in the marquee.

The attention to detail was impressive with so many personal touches on what was a very personal and fun filled day. Jess & Steve were a pleasure to spend the day with as were their family and friends. Jess & Steve clearly embrace life typified by their honeymoon which involved a safari but not before scaling Mount Kilimanjaro. Who needs a spa?!
