St. Paul’s Protests – Reportage Photography

I was recently contacted by a picture agency in France who I have worked for before asking if I could get them some imagery of the protesters occupying St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. The only day I could get down to London was last Friday which just happened to be Remembrance Day and I arrived at St. Paul’s at exactly 11am to see church members and the protesters together on the steps of St Paul’s remembering those who have fallen. It struck me as a significant moment as the protesters stood together with war veterans who fought so valiantly to allow the very same people the freedom to be there protesting.

It was a dignified affair and after the remembrance service I stayed to capture a few more images.

As a documentary wedding photographer it was nice to turn my attention to a different subject matter and I really enjoyed it. Below are a few of my favourite images.
