Upper Court, Kemerton weddings – Anitia & Mark – Part one

OK so for this wedding post I have decided to break it up into (at least) two parts. It was a bit of an epic with so much going on I feel it needs more than one blog post.

As an Oxfordshire wedding photographer I get to photograph a lot of Cotswold weddings, however I hadn’t worked at Upper Court in Kemerton before and I loved it. Weddings at Upper Court are defined by a relaxed style – there is a church on site, plenty of accommodation and really stunning grounds. You can just tell when the guests arrive and everything is in one place that they relax into it and enjoy the wedding right from the start.

Anitia & Mark also defined the ethos of Upper Court – they were relaxed, incredibly welcoming and keen to ensure that their wedding was fun for everyone. It was noticeable how much thought that had ben put into ensuring that this was a wedding for all their guests to enjoy.

The second part of this blog post (or third…) will introduce you to gorillas, unexpected singing guests and much more. For now I have included bride & groom prep through to the end of their lovely and very personalised wedding ceremony. Anitia looked stunning and so relaxed despite all the hustle and bustle going on around her – she just seemed to be really enjoying herself and taking it all in.

Anitia & Mark – I hope you like the photos, thank you both so much for making me so welcome and feel part of your wedding day – it was a privilege.

If you are having an Upper Court wedding or are looking for a wedding photographer in Gloucestershire and would like to discuss your wedding photography please get in touch – I would love to hear from you.

  • That's quite a guard of honour Tom :) Lovely images - a beautiful bride and I particularly like the b&w shot during the preparations, where she's holding a glass of champagne. Great tones and composition!

  • Lovely work Tom. You have captured the ceremony well, I also like the prep shots.

  • Gorgeous Tom. Some amazing natural portraits in this selection.

  • Wonderful work as always Tom - love the shot of the brides dress being adjusted as she goes down the aisle :-)

  • really lovely work Tom. The little boy with his arms outstretched in the aisle is great
