Upper Court Wedding Photography – A thank you

This summer I had the pleasure of documenting the fabulous Upper Court, Kemerton wedding of Anitia & Mark. It was so good I split my normal single blog post into three separate posts. Upper Court in Kemerton, Gloucestershire is a great wedding venue and I really enjoyed being a part of Anitia & Mark’s day. Everyone in the wedding industry knows how much time and effort goes into organising a wedding but it doesn’t stop after the band has sung their last song and guests drift off to their hotels and B&Bs. Once the celebrations are over there is the tricky task of thanking everyone who came. As one of the suppliers I don’t expect to receive much more than an email from the bride & groom saying (hopefully) that they are happy with the photos so to receive a hand written card with one of my images on the front is a surprise and a delight. They also took the time to write a long message! – so I am going to include below just a few excerpts:

“Dear Tom, What a huge thank you we owe you! Firstly it was such a pleasure to have you join us on our wedding day, you worked so hard the whole time and yet we barely noticed you there…….The photos we have seen have blown us away. We smiled and laughed our way through all of them!…The expressions you captured & little candid moments are just magical and we are just so thrilled that with these photos we’ll be able to re-live the day forever….Thank you so much, Mark & Anitia”

Apart from being incredibly pleased to receive such a lovely thank you what really struck me is that they referred to two things that I strive so hard to achieve as a wedding photographer – namely, to be as unobtrusive as possible on the day and to provide images that take them back to their wedding day every time they view them.

If you are having an Upper Court, Kemerton wedding or you are looking for a Gloucestershire wedding photographer then please get in touch – I would love to hear from you.
