A few weeks ago I was back at The Rectory Hotel in Crudwell near Malmesbury – without doubt one of the Cotswolds top wedding venues. Jennie and Paul got married on a day when the rain kindly stayed away and we were blessed with a beautifully hot and sunny day.
I started with some bridal prep with Jennie and her bridesmaids getting ready at The Rectory. The service took place in the conservatory and thankfully the Registrars in Wiltshire have relaxed their approach to photography during the service so I was able to capture this important part of their wedding day. After the service guests enjoyed the somewhat rare treat of being able to enjoy the outdoors for drinks before the wedding breakfast. The intimate atmosphere of The Rectory’s dining room combined with the always stunning food they serve resulted in a fabulous atmosphere further improved by some excellent speeches and then some great dancing.
It was a pleasure to be a part of Jennie & Paul’s day – I was made to feel so welcome by their family and friends and was, as ever, looked after superbly by the Rectory’s staff.
