I met Martin & Avril last year when they asked me to photograph their Wiltshire wedding. It took me back to one of my favourite wedding venues – The Rectory Hotel in Crudwell, Wiltshire. It proved to be a stylish setting for a stylish couple and it was a really lovely and joyous wedding day. It took place on Easter Sunday and I started with some bridal prep with Avril and her closest friends and a little bit with Martin and his fabulous sons Miles & Noah.
After a lovely service guests enjoyed the rare treat of being able to have a drink outside in the Rectory’s wonderful gardens before heading in for their meal. The speeches were brilliant and the dancing wasn’t bad either.
It was a pleasure to be a part of Avril & Martin’s day and I am grateful for being so warmly welcomed by them and their family & friends.
