A while back I posted a selection of images from a fabulous three day Indian wedding I documented in August. After a mammoth edit I am now able to post a few more images from their celebrations.
As a documentary wedding photographer with a background in overseas photojournalism it was a joy to photograph an asian wedding with so much variation and colour.
The images below are from the first day, the Mehndi which took place in London. It seemed quite a simple occasion really. Just get all your family and friends together, have an area for the mehendi, some great food and non stop music to dance to. As a wedding photographer it was a joy to see a dance floor that was jam packed from start to finish.
Amee & Phil’s family and friends really made me feel welcome from the very beginning which I am extremely grateful for.

Great images Tom. Lots of colour and emotion. Nice captures. Particularly like the shot of the little girl and the thumb :-)
