“Thanks so much for these, they are brilliant!!”
A few days ago I received an email from Hannah & Oli thanking me again for their wedding photos which prompted me to post this blog post of their Oxford Town Hall wedding which took place last Summer. It was so considerate of them to make the effort to send me an email, some nine months after their wedding to repeat their thanks for their photos.
Hannah & Oli were married at Oxford Town Hall with a drinks reception at the riverside restaurant The Folly just down the road. I started my day with Hannah at The Randolph Hotel where she was getting ready before heading over to the Town Hall where a smiley but nervous Oli was waiting. Hannah arrived in a rickshaw in pouring rain for a lovely service before everyone headed down to The Folly for drinks. I was able to take Hannah & Oli into Christ Church Meadows to entertain the tourists and get some portraits…
With the sun now shining we headed out onto the river for a trip down past the iconic Oxford boathouses before everyone headed back to the Town Hall for dinner which included some excellent speeches and a highly impressive (and clearly well rehearsed) first dance!
It was a great day made all the better by Hannah & Oli and their friends and family being properly lovely people. And, as an Oxford wedding photographer, any wedding where I can get there and back on foot is a bonus!
